Will we ever be able to create artificial gravity in space?

Yes. Artificial gravity can be created in space by the "hamster-wheel affect", or centrifuge. Being inside a spinning ring in space, you would be forced out from the center by centrifugal force, thus making out, down. Think of the ride at the fair, usually called the Gravitron.
