| Not really, its just a saying that we should not eat or cut anything during an eclipse. It is actually a religious talk that most of us do follow. And as far as injurious are concern, it is not injurious at all unless you see the eclipse with a naked eyes and even it is said that pregnant ladies should strictly follow the rules of eclipse as it would be harmful to her baby and that true also.So its better to follow the rules of eclipse to be on safer side.
